Rabbi Alex Israel is an author, Tanakh teacher and international lecturer. He teaches at Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi, Midreshet Lindenbaum, and the Pardes Institute. Having made Aliyah in 1991 from the UK, he gained semikha from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate following several years of study at Yeshivat Har Etzion, Rabbi Israel holds degrees from London School of Economics, the Institute of Education, London, and Bar Ilan University. His books "I Kings - Torn in Two" and "II Kings - In a Whirlwind" have been received to great acclaim. Rav Alex has taught at Jewish communities and campuses on 5 continents.
