Rabbi Nathaniel Helfgot
Rabbi Helfgot is the chair of the Talmud Dept. at SAR High School in NYC. He serves as rabbi of Congregation Netivot Shalom in Teaneck, NJ. He also is an adjunct faculty member of the Wexner Heritage Program, the Drisha Institute For Jewish Education and YCT Rabbinical School. He has published many essays in Jewish studies and is the editor of a number of volumes including Community, Covenant and Commitment: Selected Letters and Public Communications of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik as well as the author of Mikra and Meaning: Studies in Bible and Its Interpretation.
He holds a BA with honors from Yeshiva College, and an MA in Jewish Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education of Yeshiva University. He is a musmach of RIETS-YU and was close stduent of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein zt"l and involved in helping edit some of his works.
Rabbi Helfgot is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America, the International Rabbinic Fellowship and the Rabbinic Council of Bergen County.
