David MandelDavid Mandel is the Chief Executive Officer of OHEL Children's Home and Family Services. OHEL has been serving the Jewish community of New York City and the metropolitan area since 1969. OHEL provides training and consultation to Jewish communities throughout the United States on a range of issues. OHEL and its affiliates, Bais Ezra and the Lifetime Care Foundation for the Jewish Disabled, serve children and adults with mental illness, developmental disabilities and families in crisis. Through its many programs, including foster care, outpatient counseling, 60 residences and apartments, school-based prevention, addiction treatment, domestic violence, sexual abuse treatment, day programs, legal guardianship and summer camp OHEL serves 3000 individuals and families. David is a frequent contributor in newspapers and magazines and a speaker at numerous conventions. |
