Speaker Profile Bassie Taubes

Beth  S. (Bassie) Taubes, RN, OCN,CBCN, Certified Health Coach, has worked in the field of oncology for over thirty years. She has worked with cancer patients both as a nurse, providing direct patient care, and an administrator, serving as Clinical Director of Operations at the New York University Clinical Cancer Center and later as Clinical Manager at the Women’s Oncology and Wellness Practice in New York City. In these capacities, Beth was involved in a number of important clinical trials; she has also been a guest lecturer at numerous local and national oncology programs, is a frequent lecturer for breast cancer support groups, and has published several articles in her areas of expertise. 

In 2013, Beth started a wellness program in New York for women with a history of breast cancer in order to educate her patients about the risks of obesity, a sedentary life style, and breast cancer recurrence, and to coach them as to how to modify and improve their quality of life. A year ago, she founded Wellness Wisdom LLC in Teaneck, New Jersey, where she motivates clients of all backgrounds, ages, and health conditions to engage in improved self-care through healthy eating, healthy movement, and healthy sleep.

She also serves as Rebbetzin of Congregation Zichron Mordechai in Teaneck, where she resides with her family as a proud mother and grandmother, and is actively involved in organizations like Yachad, Friendship Circle, and Bikur Cholim.
